Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys kicked off their season on Sunday, and unfortunately for owner and general manager Jerry Jones and the team, they fell in a 28-20 loss against the New York Giants.
It's always a sour thing for an NFL team to lose their first game of the season. It can lead to overreactions and people too quickly assuming that it's over.
One difficult part of the game for the Cowboys was that wide receivers George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb had more drops than usual. It was difficult to ignore those drops, and after the game, Prescott touched on it.

Speaking with the reporters, the quarterback assured them that he's not worried about Pickens and Lamb's drops. He trusts them.
"It'll get back to that (the offense clicking)," Prescott said after the showdown. "Those guys had some uncharacteristic drops. I know they were upset about them immediately."
Prescott also said that he'll obviously still toss to them and believes they'll turn this around.
"They came and made a comment about them and then moved on as they should. We'll get back to it. A lot of confidence in those two guys," Prescott added. "Not going to stop throwing it to them (or) shy away from them. Not going to get down on them. Their resume(s) and who they are speaks enough."
The Cowboys' season opener just was one of those games where things weren't clicking for the team. Now, it's up to head coach Brian Schottenheimer to get the team back on track for Week 2.
