The Dallas Cowboys all of a sudden have a surplus of edge rushers.
They might be trading one, but don't worry, it won't be Micah Parsons.
Cowboys Wire suggests that Sam Williams is a prime trade candidate.
Williams missed the 2024 season with a torn ACL in late July.
Here's some of the logic from Cowboys Wire:
The veteran edge rusher does hold value. As a second-round pick in 2022, Williams has the ability to do one of the things that's most important on defense, get to the quarterback. His 8.5 sacks in his first two seasons aren't overly impressive on the surface, but the former Mississippi star did that damage in limited snaps.
