Leaks from the NFL’s 18-week, 272-game schedule continue to trickle out, and so far, the league has the reigning Super Bowl champions playing on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the 2025 season.
Per a Monday eventing leak that has since been confirmed, the Philadelphia Eagles will renew their NFC East rivalry with the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium on Dec. 20, during what will be a Saturday doubleheader on FOX the weekend before Christmas.
Packers-Bears will be the other matchup, with game times still to be announced. That Saturday will feature a mega slate of games, with the quarterfinal round of the College Football Playoff tournament also in action.
Eagles-Commanders will be a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship Game. Washington won its home matchup with Philly in Week 16 last season, 36-33, after Jalen Hurts exited the game early with a concussion.
Philly’s 2025 home game vs. the Commanders is yet to be announced. The Eagles do know they’ll be hosting the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 as part of the NFL’s Thursday night season kick-off event. They’re also reportedly slated to host the Chicago Bears on Black Friday in November.
Washington’s other known date on the 2025 schedule is a Week 11 trip abroad to Madrid, Spain, to face the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 16.
