Cody Rhodes makes shocking New Year’s revelation after WWE live event

WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes has a unique New Year's Resolution. The star spoke with the fans this week.

Rhodes was part of WWE's Holiday tour Live Event circuit this week. He joined several other stars from the RAW and SmackDown rosters for a huge live event in Detroit, Michigan, on December 30. Other stars at the event included Drew McIntyre, The Wyatt Sicks, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Damian Priest, and many others.

The show was headlined by Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre going one-on-one in a Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The American Nightmare fought bravely and won the match. After the encounter, cut a promo for the fans in attendance. The star spoke about New Year's Resolutions and shared his own plans. Rhodes claimed that after a low blow from McIntyre, he felt he couldn't have a third child. However, the champ shared the positive news that he was ready to expand his family with a third child.

"Do you guys have New Year’s resolutions? Well, I don’t know if you heard — Drew gave me a low blow and then told my lovely mother-in-law that we couldn’t have a third. Oh no! I think I’m still good to go!" (H/T Ringside News)

Cody Rhodes has to go through hell

With 2025 in the rear-view mirror, Cody Rhodes now has to focus on the new challenge that lies ahead of him. A major part of the year was spent in his rivalry with Drew McIntyre.

There seems to be no end to the feud as the two stars gear up for a monumental matchup in Berlin. Cody will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship in a Three Stages of Hell Match against the Scottish Warrior on January 9.

McIntyre has made his intentions clear about dethroning Cody, and it will be interesting to see if he can break down the champion during their matchup.
