CM Punk takes up unexpected new role outside WWE

CM Punk has taken up a new unexpected role outside WWE. The World Heavyweight Champion is currently involved in a feud with The Vision on RAW and is set to defend his Title against Bron Breakker in a couple of weeks.

But for now, the Second City Saint is embracing the festive season. Punk recently swapped his wrestling gear for a Santa outfit as he featured in a new video.

Horror movie icons Jill Schoelen, Judie Aronson, Barbara Crampton, Krsy Fox, and Diane Franklin have reimagined the classic Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane) song with their own horror-and-holiday-themed music video. The video features a special appearance from the WWE star, dressed as Santa Claus.

In the video, Schoelen and her friends are singing happily until a breaking news broadcast warns them that evil elves are wreaking havoc. The elves make their way to the house of the scream queens and tie them up with holiday lights and garland.

With trouble looming, Punk as Santa Claus slides down the chimney and takes down the evil elves. Later, he is seen dancing with Schoelen and her friends in the video.

CM Punk continued to tangle with The Vision on RAW

CM Punk's with The Vision took an interesting turn last week, when it was revealed that Theory was the man behind the mask who had been helping The Vision.

This week on RAW, CM Punk teamed up with Rey Mysterio to take on Austin Theory and The Vision's Bronson Reed. Despite his best efforts, Punk couldn't secure a win for his team.

The match ended with Theory hitting Mysterio with a Stomp to win the match. The Voice of the Voiceless will now turn his attention to Bron Breakker as he puts his World Title on the line on the first RAW of the new year.
