This week on Sunday Night Football, the Chicago Bears will face the San Francisco 49ers in a game that could have large playoff implications.
The Bears' offense has seen quite a turnaround thanks to the brilliant offensive mind of head coach Ben Johnson, but for the last few weeks, they've been without their WR1, Rome Odunze.
During the team's game against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15, Luther Burden III also injured himself when a tackle along the sideline twisted his ankle in an awkward position.
It's been noticeable in the passing game without Odunze, but last week against Green Bay, when they missed both Odunze and Luther Burden III, their offense looked rough.
Missing your number one and number three WRs would lead to struggles for any offense. Luckily for Chicago, that will no longer be the case against the 49ers on Sunday night.
Bears getting back one of two top WRs this week
The Chicago Bears released their final injury report of the week prior to their game against the 49ers today. After a week where illnesses were ravaging through the roster, there's some good news in there for Bears fans.
The Bears are set to have rookie WR Luther Burden III return to the lineup this week, while Rome Odunze will still be out.

On the season, Burden III only has one TD catch, but his impact has been felt regardless. Among the Bears receiving corps, Burden III is 4th in catches, targets, and yards, while being 3rd in yards per catch (13.3).
Fantastic production from a rookie who's been asked to fill that WR3 role among other great talents.
The Bears' offense will still be without Odunze this week, so don't expect their offense to look high-octane again just yet, but getting back Burden III is a significant step in picking up a win on Sunday.
