Chelsea are set for a busy transfer window with a number of incomings and outgoings certain to take place at the club.

While the fans will be excited by the prospect of the potential signings, it is also important to keep an eye on the exits as the club needs to sell a few players to raise funds to sign new ones.

And one Chelsea star has opened the door to a potential exit from the club in during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile has admitted that he does not know whether he will remain at the club next season.

The Frenchman has struggled to get game time under Enzo Maresca in the Premier League and has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in the summer.

However, 24-year-old has been a constant fixture in Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League side making 10 appearances so far this season and understandably, he has set his sights on clinching the title.

When asked about his future, Badiashille told Hayters TV,  “I don’t know if I will stay or not but I’m here at Chelsea, so we will try to win and that’s it.”

The Blues take on Real Betis in Poland on 28 May hoping to lift their first trophy since 2021.

And Badiashile says getting back to winning silverware would be significant for the club.

“It’s important for the club to win this trophy because I think Chelsea are a big club and we have to win every trophy that we can,” he said.

Badiashile also praised team-mate Marc Cucurella for his recent form, continuing: “He’s a top guy and a top player.

“He’s helped us a lot this year, and the coach helped him a lot. We try to help to finish in the same way and keep going.”

On his boss Enzo Maresca, Badiashile added: “Tactically, he’s one of the best. He’s helped us a lot to be consistent in the competition. I think we can do better, and he’s here to help us do that.”
