Kobe Bryant's daughter, Natalia Bryant, has received a wave of support following her college graduation this week. Many people came out of the woodwork to celebrate her milestone achievement, including pop star Taylor Swift

The Grammy winner made a rare return to social media this week to subtly acknowledge Natalia's May 16 graduation from the University of Southern California.

On May 19, Natalia — the oldest daughter of the late Kobe and Vanessa Bryant — shared a clip on TikTok with her arms wrapped around a group of friends during the festivities.

The girls were decked out in white dresses and graduation sashes as they mouthed the words to Swift's song, "Nothing New."

"How can a person know everything at 18 but nothing at 22? And will you still want me when I'm nothing new," the girls sang.

Swift, 35, saw the video and quietly left her support by liking it.

The girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been quiet on social media ever since she wrapped up her whirlwind Eras Tour in December, after spending two years on tour, which is likely why several of Swift's fans quickly noticed the interaction on Natalia's post.

"Taylor Swift liked this," one person commented.

"Taylor is alive," another person wrote.

"Taylor is back!!!!," someone else said.

Kobe Bryant shared heartfelt praise for Taylor Swift before his passing

It's no surprise that Swift showed support for Kobe's 22-year-old daughter on social media - the entire Bryant family is are well-known Swifties, having attended several of her concerts over the years.

Prior to his passing in 2020, Kobe had some sweet words for the "Shake It Off" singer during an interview with "The Jordan Harbinger Show."

"I  think it's important to listen to people who do great things. Taylor's been at the top of the game for a very, very long time," Kobe said during the 2019 interview. "I don't care if you like her music or don't like her music, look at what she's doing. It's frightening. It's unbelievable to be able to pull that off over and over, and so I look at things like that to try and learn from them as much as I can."

Kobe's youngest daughter, Bianka Bryant, 8, was even honored by Swift in 2023 during one of her Eras Tour shows.

While singing her signature song "22" at the concert, Swift selected Bianka from the audience to receive her black fedora. In a touching moment mid-song, the Grammy-winner dropped to her knees and placed the hat on Bianka's head, who was standing front and center during the show.
