This week’s WWE SmackDown episode is expected to make wonders. The show is expected to be action-packed, with the company finally kicking off the build for Survivor Series: WarGames. Some massive title matches took place at the recent edition of Saturday night’s Main Event, and the same is set to be featured on the blue brand as well.

Massive title defenses are set for the episode, one of which featured Giulia defending her Women’s United States Championship against Chelsea Green. The latter recently won the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships alongside Ethan Page, and is now set to challenge for another title.

Green has been doing an incredible job alongside Ethan Page in the company. From appearances in NXT to her massive work on SmackDown, the stars have managed to make headlines with their chemistry and the impact they have made on both rosters. Green is now set to try and win the Women’s United States title once again, bringing the gold back on her side, which would make both Green and Page double champions.

Considering the past few weeks, Kiana James would undoubtedly be present on Giulia’s corner, trying to get the star to retain her title and continue her reign as one of the top mid-carders of the company. However, Green might have some backup too. Ethan Page could make his presence felt in a surprise act to help his tag team partner win another gold on the blue brand, making both stars double champions. Time will now tell what WWE has in store for the stars next.

Chelsea Green addressed the status of WWE’s mid-card titles recently

Former WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green has managed to evolve as one of the top names in the women’s roster over the past few months. The star recently addressed the status of the women’s mid-card titles and how their absence has affected the women’s wrestling division massively.

During an interview with CinemaBlend recently, the star stated that she doesn’t feel WWE is doing the best it can, and that the titles need to be featured more on a regular basis.

"Do I think that we’re doing all we can with them? No. I would love to see more being done with them. I want Giulia to be wrestling on TV every single week with that title. I wanted Zelina on TV every single week. I want Michin to win the title and be on TV every single week. There’s so many hours of WWE, and we can find a place for those championships if we try,"

Fans will have to wait and see what the company has in store for the title pictures next.
