Charley Hull enjoyed some downtime after the second round of the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational. The English golfer teed it up this week at the mixed-field event, and she is in contention to win this week.

However, she took some time away from the field to spend time with her friends and family members. Hull offered a glimpse of her outing on her Instagram account. She shared a picture with her friend in a black outfit.

The English golfer wore a black crop top, paired it with faded blue denim pants, and white shoes. She styled her hair in a ponytail and carried a white purse.

Charley Hull opens up about her performance at the Grant Thornton Invitational

Charley Hull and Michael Brennan carded a round of 1-under 71 in the second round of the Grant Thornton Invitational. They slipped down to settle in second place at 18 under. In the post-round press conference, Hull opened up about her performance and said (Tee Scripts):

"We're playing pretty solid. Obviously I missed that putt on the last, but it's kind of hard in foursomes to get into a rhythm sometimes. Like to not have a short putt say all round and you're on the last hole, you like didn't have some pace putts for ages and then you have a long putt at 17."

Brennan also talked about their performance and said:

"I kind of whiffed a few iron shots on par 3s, which we were thinking I'd be pretty good on. Like Charley said, it's hard to find a rhythm. But looking forward to playing all the shots tomorrow and I like where we stand."

Meanwhile, after two rounds of the Grant Thornton Invitational, Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak took the lead in the game at 19 under. They are in contention to win the game.

The final round will start at 8:45 a.m. ET on Sunday. Hull and Brennan will tee off at 10:30 a.m. ET in a group with Coughlin and Novak.

Earlier this year, Charley Hull won the Kroger Queen City Championship. She played rounds of 68, 65, 67, and 68. Meanwhile, some of her other notable finishes are T4 at The Annika, T2 at the AIG Women’s Open, and T4 at the HSBC Women’s World Championship.

She last played at the CME Group Tour Championship, where she played the four rounds of 69, 69, 68, and 71 and settled in the T19 position.
