Carlos Alcaraz was forced to withdraw from the Davis Cup Finals this year. His team, Spain, is one win away from claiming the title and will face Italy on Sunday (November 23).
Alcaraz was honored with the Year-End No. 1 trophy in Turin this month. He also secured a runner-up finish in the ATP Finals, where he lost to Jannik Sinner.
The Spaniard shared a post of his younger brother, Jaime, via Instagram. The latter seemed to be playing a match on the ATP Challenger tour.

Meanwhile, Alcaraz felt gutted to miss out on the Davis Cup Finals. His country will have a golden opportunity to defeat Italy and win the prestigious trophy this year.

“Things don’t always turn out the way you want. Now I have to go back home and recover as soon as possible so I can be there for preseason and start the year in the best way possible. I will be supporting the team from home.”The 22-year-old still tuned in to watch his teammates battle in the Davis Cup Finals.
"Vamooooooos," Carlos Alcaraz saidSpain defeated Germany in the semifinals 2-1. Pedro Martinez and Marcel Granollers held their nerve against Kevin Krawietz and Tim Putz in the penultimate round.

The Spaniard likes to keep tabs on Jaime's progress in tennis so far. He spoke about his level during an off-court interview in Saudi Arabia last year.
“Yeah he plays well, I’m not gonna lie. He’s getting to a really good level. But honestly there are a lot of people around, a lot of videos and accounts from social media that are saying that he’s going to be similar to his brother and I don’t really like that you know in that way,”Alcaraz also said that he'll be there to support Jaime in his career. He also looked forward to playing against him in the future.
"So, let’s see how he's gonna handle it. I’ll be there for him for sure. He loves tennis and every time he can, he goes to court, he asks my father to go court and hit some balls. For me that’s great, that he loves playing tennis and let’s see if he’s gonna get better and better and hopefully one year I'll play against him,”Alcaraz is expected to play a couple of exhibition events in December. The Spaniard has yet ot give an update about his fitness after his Davis Cup Finals withdrawal.
