Juan Carlos Ferrero's team recently sent a message to Carlos Alcaraz and his current head coach Samuel Lopez. The message came days after Alcaraz sent shockwaves through the tennis world by announcing that Ferrero would no longer be coaching him despite the astounding success the player-coach duo achieved since their collaboration began in 2019.
Ferrero played an instrumental role in guiding Alcaraz to all 24 career singles title he has won so far, including his six Major title triumphs. The Spaniards also enjoyed an incredible 2025 season, during which Alcaraz reclaimed the World No. 1 ranking and won eight titles, inclusive of two Slams. However, due to reasons that largely remain unknown, the 22-year-old made the decision to remove Ferrero from his coaching setup.
Despite these developments, the official Instagram handle of the Ferrero Tennis Academy sent a message of support to Carlos Alcaraz and his current coach Samuel Lopez on Monday, December 22. The post, shared via Instagram Stories, featured a picture of Alcaraz training under Lopez's supervision with the message:
