Tonight's pre-taped edition of WWE Monday Night RAW saw the return of former Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, who cut a heel promo that was interrupted by her current rival and the woman who dethroned her as the Women's IC Titleholder, Maxxine Dupri.
The Man and the Alpha Academy member got into a brawl, but yet again Dupri managed to gain the upper hand and locked the Big Time Becks in an ankle lock.
In this listicle, we will explore three reasons why the Stamford-based promotion brought Lynch back to Monday Night RAW:

#3. To take the WWE Women's Intercontinental Title off Maxxine Dupri
The Stamford-based promotion is approaching a new year, and the creatives are working tirelessly to craft the perfect product for the fans.
Maxxine's upset win over Becky Lynch to claim the title was indeed a jaw-dropper for the fans, but heading into 2026 and soon kicking off the Road to WrestleMania 42, The Man would still be a better option as a titleholder and would have a bigger box office.
Therefore, she may be back on the flagship show to take the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship from Dupri once again.
#2. Set the stage for AJ Lee's return
The Black Widow returned to World Wrestling Entertainment earlier this year. She joined her husband, CM Punk, and kicked off a feud with Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
Lee also played a vital role in costing Lynch her Women's Intercontinental strap against Maxxine. Her return on RAW could be to set up AJ Lee's comeback and the beginning of their rivalry.
#1. Maxxine Dupri doesn't have any other major opponent to solidify her reign
Apart from Lynch, Dupri does not have any other rival who can solidify her reign as the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion on Monday Night RAW.
The storyline between them has been crafted perfectly, showing how an underdog superstar is climbing the ladder, beating a multi-time champion veteran in a row, and becoming the face of the promotion.
