Cardinals legend Albert Pujols pens sweet message to wife Nicole on her special day

Cardinal legend Albert Pujols wished his wife, Nicole, a happy birthday on Tuesday. He posted a sweet message on Instagram with photos of Nicole.

"Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, the love of my life, and my best friend. I am so lucky to have you, and I cherish every moment we spend together. I love you ❤️ (translated from Spanish)," Pujols wrote.

Pujols also shared a story, featuring him and Nicole dancing at a party. She wore a mid-length green dress, while the former first baseman had a sage-toned shirt on paired with grey pants.

"Happy Birthday, mi Nini. Love you," Pujols wrote.

Nicole is the daughter of the former President of the Dominican Republic. The couple married in September 2023, and Pujols posted a photo from their wedding with a heartfelt message.

"My best love story is the one living with you ❤️," Pujols wrote.

Albert Pujols shared a glimpse of the Great Sports Legends dinner on Instagram. The event was held at the New York Hilton on Sept. 29 to honor Marc Buoniconti’s remarkable 40-year journey. It was hosted by The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. The fund aims to raise $1 million.

Pujols wore an Italian-tailored suit, while his wife, Nicole, was dressed in a designer burgundy-colored dress.

"What an honor to have been recognized last night at The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis Gala. We are deeply grateful for the invitation and proud to support such an inspiring mission. The work being done to advance research and bring hope to so many is truly remarkable," Pujols wrote.

Ten Hall of Fame athletes, including NBA legend Dominique Wilkins, NFL legend Warren Moon and former NBA star Dwight Howard, among others, were in attendance.
