Cardinals' Jordan Walker made absurd baseball history never done before in MLB

Jordan Walker has as impressive of tools as anyone in Major League Baseball.

The St. Louis Cardinals are getting to see him put it all on display in the early going.

On Saturday, Walker hit a grand slam beyond 450 feet.

He also tallied three hits and stole a base.

It's the first time a Cardinals player had had those three components in a game since Ray Lankford in 1997, according to beat reporter Jeff Jones.

Walker also had an outfield assist, which makes it even more unique.

Jordan Walker today is the first Cardinals outfielder with a grand slam, a stolen base, and at least three hits in the same game since Ray Lankford on May 7, 1997.

I have yet to find a player who matches all of those criteria and had an OF assist, as Walker did today.

Walker also had an outfield assist on Friday that he threw at 100.6 miles per hour.

He's the first player ever to go 100 MPH assist and 450-foot HR in back-to-back days, according to Sarah Langs.

459 ft grand slam today

Walker was one of the top prospects in baseball, but it's been a rough couple of seasons.

He has started this season in a much better place, and he might just still have a great career in front of him.
