Captain Puffy claims Pokimane was aware of allegations against Ellum

Twitch streamer Pokimane recently announced that she has moved in with her fellow platform member, Josh "Ellum." Josh is a 100 Thieves content creator based in Los Angeles, recognized for his variety of gaming streams, often featuring the OTK & Friends circle. In the early stages of his content creation journey, Josh dated Cara "Captain Puffy" from Twitch, a popular Minecraft creator.

Their relationship reportedly lasted for about two and a half years, from late 2021 until April 2024. Now, on December 17, 2025, Cara released a six-page Google Doc detailing her negative experiences with Ellum as a partner.

The key allegations from the piece include claims that Josh contributed very little to household expenses or shared responsibilities, as well as allegations that he repeatedly disregarded her personal boundaries and committed infidelity.

Many online wondered how Ellum's past with Captain Puffy would factor in with Pokimane in the picture, considering she is housemates with the former. To clear the air, Cara explained to her viewers that she had conversations with Imane regarding the situation.

For context, Pokimane recently shared a TikTok in collaboration with Ellum, and after users in the comments mentioned the allegations against Josh, she responded, saying:

"hi guys - i've seen your comments and have talked to the people involved. i take this stuff seriously but won't be discussing someone else's past relationship publicly. i appreciate y'all looking out for me..."

In a livestream after Captain Puffy released her Google Doc, she mentioned that she had already connected with Poki regarding the claims, suggesting that Imane was aware of Josh's alleged behaviour in October 2025:

"[Poki] got a lot of negative comments on the TikTok... she reached out to me, and asked me about the situation and what happened. The reason why I'm saying this, by the way, is not to throw Poki under the bus in any way, shape, or form, but because she also made it publicly known, in her TikTok, that she had spoken to me... I don't feel like I'm saying anything she hasn't already said herself. She did reach out to me in October and asked me what happened, basically..."

According to Captain Puffy, Pokimane mentioned that Josh claimed that he "didn't cheat":

"[Poki] asked me what had happened basically, because apparently [Ellum] said he didn't cheat and whatever else that they discussed, I don't know... I sent her a really long message, basically, kind of like, almost summarizing exactly what was said in the Google Doc, obviously, more casually 'cuz I'm just speaking to her."

Cara went on to tell her viewers that she explained to Poki her position and that she called Ellum's alleged behaviour "horrible":

"I basically told her everything, and her response was, obviously, essentially, that it was horrible what happened to me, and how he was. Obviously, I don't know the standing of their friendship..."
