Conservative podcaster Tim Pool has remained a vocal critic of Candace Owens' claims related to Charlie Kirk's murder. Over the past few weeks, Pool and Owens have gone back and forth online after the latter raised eyebrows at Turning Point and Erika Kirk following Kirk's death. Candace Owens stirred a new controversy after a man named Mitch Snow appeared on her podcast.
He claimed that he saw Charlie Kirk's chief of security, Brian Harpole, at a military base in Arizona one day before Charlie Kirk was shot. Snow added that he witnessed Harpole meeting with the US military top brass on the morning of September 9. The individual, who claimed to be a former military member, added that he also caught sight of Erika Kirk in a hotel lobby at Fort Huachuca, the military base, on the evening of September 8.
These accusations ignited a fresh uproar and many other influencers bashed Candace Owens for her unverified claims. On December 28, conservative influencer Evan Kilgore shared a lengthy post on X and claimed that many people related to Candace Owens' source messaged him about his alleged wrongdoings in the past. He mentioned that he was criticized by the podcaster's followers when he shared the receipts.
Candace Owens reacted to Kilgore's allegations and asked him asked him why he was "coordinating X posts via text with other influencers." Comedian Jimmy Dore, who often supported Owens, quote-tweeted her post and wrote:
"Of course the unprecedented freak out over @RealCandaceO for investigating an assassination that is being obviously covered up by the FBI, is being funded and Astroturfed, it is obviously a coordinated paid-for-hit-job by social influencers."Tim Pool reacted to Dore's post and accused the former Daily Wire host of affecting the conservative cause.
"Candace is a deep state shill trying to pull suburban women away from the right. Trump won with MAHA because it got him suburban female voters. Candace is trying to break that," Pool posted.Later in the day, Tim Pool also reacted to Evan Kilgore's post and shared a one-word response to it.
"Respect," Pool wrote.Candace Owens takes aim at Andrew Kolvet over Erika Kirk alibi
🚨Andrew Kolvet caught LIVE directing YouTubers to clear Erika Kirk’s name, before the dummy YouTubers accidentally read a message from him, where he asks them not to reveal him as their source. 😂😂Why is Andrew Kolvet pretending Erika Kirk doesn’t even know what Fort Huachuca is? Noaccused her of being “in a fort” or of being in Tucson or of not being with Charlie on the 9th. Why is Andrew directing this BIZARRE response behind the scenes?
Soon after Owens interviewed Mitch Snow, several content creators began questioning his credibility. A YouTuber named Gary Melton, who runs the channel Paramount Tactical on YouTube, recently disputed Owens's source claim about spotting Erika Kirk in the hotel lobby on September 8.
In a December 26 livetream, Melton shared a screengrab of his conversation with TPUSA's spokesperson, who sent pictures of Erika Kirk with her kids, seemingly from the morning of September 9.
Candace Owens challenged the timeline and remarked that her source saw Erika Kirk on September 8 evening and not the next morning. She accused Kolvet of "directing" influencers.
"Andrew Kolvet caught LIVE directing YouTubers to clear Erika Kirk’s name, before the dummy YouTubers accidentally read a message from him, where he asks them not to reveal him as their source. Why is Andrew Kolvet pretending Erika Kirk doesn’t even know what Fort Huachuca is? No accused her of being “in a fort” or of being in Tucson or of not being with Charlie on the 9th. Why is Andrew directing this BIZARRE response behind the scenes?"Melton also hit back at Candace Owens and asserted that Andrew Kolvet "didn’t direct anything." He went on to explain that he misspoke about the date.
"I was streaming when the question about Erika’s location on the 8th came up, so I texted Andrew to ask—but I accidentally said the 9th. Twist it however you want, but no one expects the truth from you anyway. You’re accusing Charlie’s wife of his murder."Further in his post, Gary Melton mentioned that Kolvet just asked not to share the picture and did not object to being cited as the "source." The YouTuber referred to Owens as the "embodiment of evil."
Candace Owens, in her recent X posts, targeted many influencers for digging into the personal life of her source.
