Week 10 of the 2025 college football season is just around the corner. On Thursday, it was announced that former Utah quarterback Alex Smith will be the celebrity guest picker for the upcoming round of games.

When fans found out that Smith was returning to Utah for Week 10, they had some interesting reactions.

Smith played three years at Utah. He was then selected first overall by the San Francisco 49ers at the 2005 NFL draft.

Smith, who played 16 years in the pro league, also had stints with the Kansas City Chiefs and then-Washington Redskins.

In 2024, Smith became the first Utah player to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Where is ESPN's College GameDay for Week 10?

ESPN's College GameDay is headed to Salt Lake City for Week 10. The college football pregame show on ESPN will travel to Utah for the crunch contest between No. 24 Utah (6-2, 3-2 Big 12) and No. 16 Cincinnati (7-1, 5-0) on Saturday.

This Saturday will be the first time that GameDay will be held in Utah since 2023. It also marks the sixth time the Utes will host the pregame show and the eighth overall appearance for the program
