Cam Akers won a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams.
At one point, he was expected to be their running back of the future. They chose him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Florida State.
Things never quite worked out for Akers with the Rams, or at any of his other NFL stops.
But on Sunday, he'll have a chance to show the Rams what they're missing.
Akers plays for the Seattle Seahawks now, and with Zach Charbonnet out injured, he may see real action in the NFC Championship Game in Seattle.

This is what ESPN's Adam Schefter reported about the Seahawks' backfield on Sunday morning:
"The Seahawks also have questions at running back. With Zach Charbonnet out due to a torn ACL, Kenneth Walker III now will become their workhorse running back. Both Cam Akers and George Holani are expected to be used in backup roles, a source told ESPN, with some packages for each player."

Akers began this season with the Minnesota Vikings. He appeared in three games there and had five carries for 19 yards.
He then played three regular season games for the Seahawks but didn't touch the football.
Akers has not gotten a snap so far in the playoffs, but that appears set to change on Sunday against his first NFL team.
