Tony Romo and Jim Nantz will be on the CBS broadcast of the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
It'll be the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos playing for a spot in the Super Bowl. It'll also be the last call of the season for Nantz and Romo.
There's a decent chance they bid fans a farewell on the CBS portion of the NFL season, but it's not because Nantz and Romo are going anywhere.
It's just how the NFL broadcast calendar works.

Why this is the last game for Tony Romo-Jim Nantz this season
CBS doesn't have the Super Bowl. It's that simple.
The NFL rotates the broadcast of the Super Bowl between its different broadcasters, and this year will be on NBC.
That means that CBS will handle the AFC title game, as usual, but then that will be it.
Romo and Nantz can hit the road for some vacations and time off.

There has been criticism of Romo this season, some of it quite warranted, but for now, Nantz and Romo remain the No. 1 broadcast team at CBS.
Ian Eagle and J.J Watt are the No. 2 crew at CBS, and some prefer them.
The network could have a decision to make down the road, but Nantz and Romo will broadcast to millions on Sunday for their final broadcast of the 2025 NFL season/2026 playoffs.
