C.J. Stroud shouldered the blame for the Houston Texans’28-16 loss to the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs on Sunday.
Stroud tossed four interceptions against New England, compared to just one touchdown. All four of Stroud’s picks came in the first half of the contest. That many turnovers is tough for any team to overcome, especially in the playoffs.
"I look back and I just feel like I let people down. [I’m] not happy with that," Stroud said. "It hurts, and I’m not used to it. I know I didn’t play my best this year, but I’m going to respond. I’m going to keep my chest up, my chin up high and I’m going to just keep battling forward."
