Harrison Mevis got the rare kicker postgame interview on NBC.
He had just made the 42-yard field goal to send the Los Angeles Rams to the NFC Championship Game with an overtime win over the Chicago Bears.
The interview didn't go smoothly, though.
Instead, the audio totally fritzed out. It turned part of Mevis' answer into jibberish.

idk what happened with NBC's audio but that was hilarious 🤣 pic.twitter.com/4qxn9IWQir

That's really unfortunate. It's a special moment for Mevis, and part of that answer will forever be lost.
He likely won't mind too much, though. This is a guy who was cut a couple times before the Rams gave him a chance.
He's bulkier than your average placekicker, dubbed "The Thiccer Kicker."
At the end of the day, all that matters is that the football goes through the uprights.
And on the biggest kick of his life, Mevis made it.
The postgame interview won't go down in history, but the kick will.
