AJ Dybantsa might just be the truth.

The BYU Cougars freshman is on what statistically is one of the best runs in college basketball history.

Don't believe us?

This stat from OptaStats makes the case:

In last 30 yrs, only one DI player has had, over his full career (same span or not),

a 4-gm span w/ 90+ pts
a 4-gm span w/ 30+ reb
a 4-gm span w/ 20+ ast
a 4-gm span w/ 60% FG on 60+ FGA
a 4-gm span w/ 0 fouls in 100+ min

That man is AJ Dybantsa. He did it all the last 4 games. pic.twitter.com/jvIri00KJH

That's astounding.

Maybe some coaches would wonder about why Dybantsa has no fouls, but he's doing absolutely incredible things otherwise.

His last four games, by game:

  • California Baptist: 22 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 10-15 FG
  • Clemson: 28 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 9-17 FG
  • UC Riverside: 26 points, 8 rebounds 7 assists, 11-17 FG
  • Pacific: 23 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 8-14 FG

OK, so to be fair, not the most amazing opponents.

Dybantsa also has 10 steals and three blocks over those four games combined.

For the season, Dybantsa is averaging 21.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. He's shooting 55.6% from the floor, including 32.1% from 3, and 74.3% from the foul line.

He's anticipated to be one of the top-three picks in the 2026 NBA Draft, and potentially No. 1.

Each time out lately, Dybansta is making his case as a premier prospect and player.
