Buffalo Bills sixth-round pick stealing the show at rookie minicamp

5 hours ago 1

The Buffalo Bills have officially begun their rookie minicamp, with several new potential stars donning Bills threads for the first time. Among those players are the several new cornerbacks the Bills drafted - Max Hairston, Jordan Hancock, and Dorian Strong.

Speaking to the media after practice, Hairston had big praise for his fellow rookie Strong, who he said had a great first day.

"Dorian Strong had a really good day today," Hairston said. Just being somebody that, you know, I'm taking mental reps when I watch D. Strong. Seeing him go out there and play with poise and play like he's already adjusted, that was good to see."

The Bills have had success turning late-round defensive backs into star-caliber players. Christian Benford was a Day Three pick, as was Taron Johnson. The Bills are hoping their three newest cornerbacks can develop into high-caliber players that each find their role in the rotation. If any team has proven they can get something out of all of them, it's the Bills and Sean McDermott.
