Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane goes off on doubters in expletive-filled rant

3 hours ago 1

The Buffalo Bills had a very clear goal in mind entering the 2025 NFL Draft - fill out the defensive line and make the defense stronger. The Bills selected three cornerbacks and several defensive linemen. Many fans wanted to see a receiver taken early, but Buffalo didn't take one until the seventh round when they selected Kaden Prather out of Maryland.

Seemingly annoyed that Bills fans, and radio hosts from WGR 550 in Buffalo, weren't happy to not see a receiver taken earlier, which Beane took an exception to in an appearance on the station.

"It sounds like 2018 all over again with you guys," Beane said. "You guys were b*tching in 2018 about Josh Allen - you guys wanted Josh Rosen. And now you guys are b*tching that we don't have a receiver. I don't get it... we just scored 30 points in a row for eight straight games. A year ago, I get you guys asking why we didn't have receivers, but I don't understand it now. You just saw us lead the league in points. When you add all the postseason [games], no one scored ore points than the Buffalo Bills, including the Super Bowl champions. So you just saw us do it without Stefon Diggs... our job is to score points and win games. Where do we need to get better? Defense. We did that."

It's clear that Beane believes in the group they have out wide. They added Josh Palmer to be a vertical threat, and seem to have all the belief in the world in Keon Coleman. We'll see if he ends up being proven right in 2025.
