Legendary college coach Nick Saban has reacted to the viral video of his wife, Miss Terry, telling him to sit up on his birthday. The former Miami Dolphins coach was seen in the video in a reclining chair watching the Buffalo Bills vs. the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
His wife of over five decades came into the room with a big birthday cake, urging him to sit up and blow out the candles. Apparently, it was the seven-time national championship-winning coach’s 74th birthday.

Looking back at Nick Saban’s NFL stint
Nick Saban is known by most as that college coaching legend with a penchant for winning championships. What many do not know, however, is that he has at one time coached in the NFL.
Following his tenure at LSU, which lasted from 2000 to 2004, Saban was hired by the Dolphins in Dec. 2004. His first season in charge of the Dolphins got off to a winning start, but a long stretch of frustrating results undermined their playoff hopes.
After a 9-7 finish in his first season, Saban’s Dolphins were projected to contend for the playoffs in 2006. However, another frustrating campaign saw the team finish 6-10 and Saban accept the Alabama coaching job offer.
He would go on to lead the Crimson Tide to six national championships in one of the most successful coaching runs in football history.
