The women’s roster of WWE NXT has managed to enhance with some of the most talented names in the entire industry. While there have been numerous great additions, one name who has taken the world by storm with her performances is Sol Ruca. The star reigned as both the NXT Women’s North American Champion and the WWE Women’s Speed Champion recently, before getting a brutal knee injury.

With the star injured, her partner Zaria stepped up to defend her NXT Women’s North American title against Blake Lively at NXT Halloween Havoc. The match ended up making headlines, and the ending moments featured Lively pinning Zaria to become the new champion. The loss left Sol Ruca disappointed, with the star losing her title without even defending it herself.

This week’s NXT featured Ava Raine and Sol Ruca talking backstage, when the General Manager of NXT asked Ruca if she wanted to relinquish her Speed title or if someone would defend it for her.

Ruca, disappointed with the result of the NXT Women’s NA title match, relinquished her Speed title, which left Zaria disappointed as well, with WWE continuing to tease a potential split between the two stars. It would now be interesting to see what the company has in store for the stars and the Women’s Speed Championship next.

When will Sol Ruca return to the WWE ring?

During the interaction between Sol Ruca and Ava Raine backstage, the latter gave an update on the star’s injury condition. Ava stated that the doctors are impressed with the improvements in Ruca’s condition, but there is no return date defined for the star as of now.

With Ruca’s condition improving, the star might not stay out of the ring for long. Fans will have to wait and see how things turn around when the former NXT Women’s North American Champion returns to the squared circle.
