A match may end up being canceled on Saturday Night's Main Event if nothing changes, as a WWE champion is heading into it with a serious injury as per Michael Cole. The star has been carrying the injury since last week.

Tonight to open SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton made her way out to demand that Jade Cargill answer her challenge. She was betrayed by Cargill last week, and laid out in a vicious attack. In one moment during the attack, Cargill also stomped on her knee, hurting her further. She looked like she was not going to be able to compete at Saturday Night's Main Event. But things got more serious today.

She was not limping at all in the beginning, but when Jade Cargill came out and provoked Stratton, it seemed like things were going wrong. She went out of the ring, but when she did so, she began to limp. It appeared that she hurt her leg further at some point when she was being held back by security. Michael Cole revealed that Stratton was injuired and that she was showing effects of the attack on the leg last week from Cargill.

The star was limping severely, and Nick Aldis, who was standing on the sidelines, looked very concerned for her as well. Even though she did not get physical today, just getting out of the ring, she appeared to have landed badly.

It may be time for Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women's Championship from Tiffany Stratton

Since the beginning of the year, there has only been one WWE Women's Champion. Tiffany Stratton won it in the first show she appeared in this year, and has been very consistent in defending it.

However, Jade Cargill, who's always seemed like she's close to breaking the limits and becoming the next big thing in the company, has fallen short.

Now, with this feud, and Stratton seemingly hurt going into the match, it may be the perfect time for Stratton to lose the title and Cargill to win it all in WWE.
