BREAKING: Massive setback for former WWE stars in AEW

Two former WWE Superstars have just gone through a major setback during their appearance in AEW moments ago. Several major figures on the locker room ganged up on them and made sure they were leaving tonight with a loss.

FTR is considered one of the most decorated duos in the industry, and they have seen success within the Tony Khan-led promotion, as they are two-time world tag team champions. They are looking to become champions once more, as they are set to challenge Brodido for the belts at Full Gear.

Just moments ago on AEW Collision, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler took on Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn of the Bang Bang Gang. This was an interesting test for the Top Guys, and one that did not go smoothly for them. Robinson previously faced them alongside Jay White in a tag team contest, and that match lasted almost an hour.

It was a close contest until Stokely Hathaway decided to be smug and taunt the crowd. Little did he know that both Bandido and Gravity were seated at ringside, and they came chasing after him. He thought he got away, but JetSpeed was waiting for him at the top of the entrance ramp.

This chaos caused FTR to be distracted, and thus allowed the luchadors to connect with a dual superkick to Cash Wheeler. Dax Harwood was left alone to fend off the Bang Bang Gang. Gunn connected with a Famouser, and Juice hit his finisher to put the match away.

This was a major upset as FTR need all the momentum they can get before AEW Full Gear. Stokely Hathaway tried playing mind games, and karma came for him instantly. It remains to be seen whether they can bounce back from this disappointment. But all things considered, the Bang Bang Gang have gotten themselves an impressive win over the title contenders.
