After making a postseason run from 2018 to 2024, the Atlanta Braves ended that streak last season. So, you knew they were going to come into this season with a chip on their shoulder.
So far, they have put themselves in a great position for the rest of the way out. They hold the top spot in the National League East, three games ahead of the surging Philadelphia Phillies.
But even division leaders have their off weeks, and that was the case for Atlanta last week. However, you could argue for the full week of games or those games all being on the road.

Braves take a hit in power rankings after a tough week on the road
It was not a light schedule for the Braves by any means. They took on the Minnesota Twins in a three-game series on the road, getting swept. After that, they had a makeup game against the Chicago White Sox and were able to redeem themselves with a win before taking on the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Brewers have been rolling this year, and they tested the Braves, beating them 2-1 in the series, making for a 2-and-5 record for the week.
That didn't help them in Bleacher Report's latest power rankings, as Joel Reuter bumps them down from No. 5 to No. 8.
"The Braves have lost four of their last five series, going 6-11 during that stretch, and what was once a commanding 8.5-game lead in the NL East is now a mere three-game edge over the streaking Phillies. Things don't get any easier this week as they welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers to town on Tuesday."
As Reuter mentions, things don't get easier as they have a three-game series against the Dodgers starting on Tuesday before things take a shift when they welcome the Colorado Rockies over the weekend.
