The Atlanta Braves had an absurd night at the plate Thursday in Arizona against the Diamondbacks.
The 17-2 final score only begins to tell the story.
The Braves did it in one of the most well-rounded showings you'll see. They had 11 different players record a hit and an RBI.
That's the most in a single game since the Montreal Expos did it in 1979, according to OptaStats.
Clearly, considering that each team only starts nine players in a game, that's a really hard thing to achieve just by logistics, let alone by the fact that getting both a hit and an RBI out of every spot in the lineup in a game is incredibly unlikely.
The Braves actually could've had 12, but reserve Eli White was 0-for-1 in his only at bat.

The other 11 players who hit came through, though.
Ronald Acuna was 1-for-4 with an RBI
Drake Baldwin was 1-for-6 with an RBI and three runs.
Matt Olson was 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs.
Austin Riley was 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run
Kyle Farmer pinch-hit for Riley and was 1-for-1 with an RBI
Mike Yastrzemski was 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run.
Ozzie Albies was 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs.
Michael Harris was 2-for-6 with two RBI and a run.
Dom Smith was 1-for-3 with a home run, an RBI and two runs.
Jorge Mateo hit a pinch-hit, two-run home run for Smith in the ninth inning.
And Mauricio Dubon went 2-for-4 with a homer, an RBI and three runs scored.
That's the kind of day that raises a whole team's spirits, and numbers.
