Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is one of the best hitters on the planet. Everyone knows that.
But the Toronto Blue Jays' superstar took it to a new level on Thursday.
In Spring Training action, Guerrero hit a double off the left-center fence. That's not surprising, except when you look at how he did it.
He was off-balance, swinging with the bat in just one hand, and he crushed the baseball anyway:
How is this not AI look at this swing??? pic.twitter.com/KFEsSuEJqH

That baseball left the bat at 99 miles per hour and traveled 383 feet.
There are probably five humans on the planet, tops, who could do that. It seems like it should be impossible, or as the account with the video suggests, maybe an AI-altered footage.
Nope, it's real.
Vladdy is just that incredible.
He certainly looks more than worth the $500 million contract the Blue Jays signed him to last April. All he's done since then is lead Toronto to Game 7 of the World Series with a torrid postseason performance.
And he already looks ready to roll for the season ahead as the Blue Jays try to take the final step and win the championship for themselves. If he can hit the ball that far just like that, he clearly can clobber it a lot further with a full swing.
