The Toronto Blue Jays hit the fewest home runs in 2026, finishing 30th in the Majors with 152 home runs.

Known slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was a big reason for their struggles, as the first baseman finished with just nine homers.

Looking ahead to the offseason, the Blue Jays should target at least one or two proven power hitters to strengthen the lineup.

Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller wrote that Toronto's needs this winter include the starting rotation and outfield.

"One would also assume Toronto will be heavily in the mix for Randy Arozarena and/or Seiya Suzuki, given how poorly this team slugged in 2026 and the gaping hole in its corner outfield," Miller wrote.

Arozarena just completed his sixth consecutive 20-20 season, and Suzuki has posted a 125 OPS+ or higher in four straight years.

Both players are almost certainly multi-year investments. There's little to no chance either would accept a one-year deal.

"It doesn't have to be outfield, either, as this DH spot is up for grabs, too. (Unless you still have faith in Anthony Santander?) That could make Toronto a candidate to sign Teruaki Sato or Brandon Lowe, even though their starting infield looks to be in good shape," Miller added.

Arozarena and Suzuki are likely to stick in the outfield for at least another few years. But either player could replace George Springer at designated hitter.

Toronto needs offense badly enough that signing both players is not out of the question, but that would probably limit their spending elsewhere.
