The Toronto Blue Jays have dealt with a myriad of pitching injuries this season.
They've aligned to have one bizarre benefit for the Triple-A Buffalo Bison.
On three consecutive days, the Bison are going to get starts from Dylan Cease, Max Scherzer and Shane Bieber.
I didn't realize this until @BlakeMurphyODC just clued me in: The starting pitchers for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons the next three days...
Dylan Cease, Max Scherzer, Shane Bieber.
That's a better top 3 (if healthy) than at least 1/3 of MLB teams right now.

Cease is still in his prime, the $210 million signing from the offseason trying to work his way back to full health after a strong start to the season.
Scherzer is a future Hall of Famer playing some of his last days of baseball, but he still can get hitters out when he can stay on the mound.
Bieber is at the tail end of his career, too, although he likely has some quality years left if he wants them.
Together, they could help Toronto make a second-half surge up the standings. Injuries have crushed the Blue Jays, but they're still hanging around .500.
Getting a few of these guys back sooner rather than later should take a great step toward getting the Blue Jays on the right track as they try to shake off a brutal start to the campaign and work their way back toward the postseason.
In the meantime, it's a fun treat for Bison fans (and for fans of the Worcester Red Sox, who are hosting Buffalo for these games).
