Bills urged to sign All-Pro weapon for Josh Allen

1 hour ago 2

The Buffalo Bills, perhaps desperately, need receiver help for Josh Allen.

And we aren't talking about another Joshua Palmer type; we are talking about a genuine difference-maker for the offense.

Granted, the Bills aren't likely to go spend $30 million on a top weapon, so looking elsewhere for a bargain option is the most likely route.

And PFF's Bradley Locker has offered up Seattle Seahawks speed merchant Rashid Shaheed as an option.

"With Khalil Shakir returning as the lone consistent contributor, Buffalo needs more weapons for Josh Allen," Locker wrote. "Shaheed owns a career 74.2 PFF receiving grade, including posting a 61.5 receiving mark since being acquired by the Seahawks midseason, but he would be a strong fit with Allen.

"Shaheed would help inject perimeter speed to Buffalo’s offense without breaking the bank."

Shaheed brings home-run threat

We saw it in Seattle's NFC Championship win over the Los Angeles Rams as Sam Darnold hit Shaheed for a 51-yard bomb in the first quarter.

That sort of speed is what Buffalo needs.

Brandin Cooks was that guy in 2025, but he isn't likely to be back in 2026, and Shaheed might be looking to get paid, especially if Seattle wins the Super Bowl.

But giving Allen a weapon who can hit a home run on any given play is something he hasn't had.

It's not a big name like some are clamoring for, but Shaheed could be just what this offense needs.
