The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have become the best high-profile rivalry in the NFL. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes have faced each other seven times with the eighth matchup on the horizon as the two will square off in Week 11 with potential No. 1 seed ramifications.
The Bills and Chiefs have won more games than any other two teams since 2020 and their two quarterbacks are the two best quarterbacks in the sport. The two best teams in the AFC, and arguably the league, have become the main characters of the NFL, which is likely why Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins refers to both teams as "America's team."
"The Buffalo Bills are America's team," Dawkins said. "I don't wanna take away from no one else but I think that they called the Cowboys America's team... because the Cowboys were good in that time of life. Now the chapter is changed and we have Josh Allen [and] we're America's team in my eyes. And we play another team that is also America's team. It's just two really good teams colliding."
The mutual respect from both sides is clear, and they'll write another chapter in their storybook rivalry this Sunday.
