With rookie minicamps beginning around the NFL, the Buffalo Bills have officially welcomed their 12-man undrafted free agent class, one of which is a former 1,000 yard receiver.
The Bills have signed former Mississippi State and UTEP wide receiver Kelly Ahkaraiyi. Ahkaraiyi had 1,000 yards in 2023 at UTEP, catching 48 passes for 1,033 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging over 21 yards per catch. Those numbers went down when he transferred to Mississippi State, but he will be in competition to crack the final 53-man roster or earn a practice squad player.
The Bills signed a total of three receivers for the UDFA class, and 12 players in total. The list of the players is as follows:
- WR Kelly Ahkaraiyi, Mississippi State
- WR Stephen Gosnell, Virginia Tech
- WR Hal Pressley III, Baylor
- TE Keleki Latu, Washington
- C Jacob Bayer, Arkansas State
- OL Rush Reimer, California
- DE Hayden Harris, Montana
- DE Paris Shand, LSU
- LB Keonta Jenkins, Virginia Tech
- DB Daryl Porter Jr, Miami
- DB Wande Owens, New Hampshire
