The Buffalo Bills have bin hit hard by injuries throughout the season. Thus far, all of these star players have missed games due to injury:
- LB Matt Milano
- CB Taron Johnson
- LB Terrel Bernard
- CB Christian Benford
- WR Khalil Shakir
- WR Keon Coleman
- WR Amari Cooper
Coleman and tight end Dalton Kincaid have both been ruled out for the Week 11 matchup with the Chiefs, as Buffalo's pass-catchers continue to deal with nagging injuries. However, the Bills may have an option to go and sign via free agency.
The New England Patriots released Tyquan Thornton after the third-year pro played in just six games and netted four catches following an offseason in which the Patriots re-vamped their receiving corps. Thornton had 22 catches in 13 games in 2022.
As the Bills' injuries continue to add up, claiming Thornton as a depth option would make perfect sense for the Bills, even if it means stashing him on the practice squad.
