The Buffalo Bills have one of the best offensive lines in football. Josh Allen was sacked just 14 times in 2024, and James Cook led the NFL in rushing touchdowns in large part due to their group up front playing so well.
Despite that, Moe Moton of Bleacher Report says the Bills should secure more depth up front and sign former New England Patriots offensive lineman Conor McDermott.
"The Bills can take a page from the Philadelphia Eagles' offseason playbook," Moton writes. "They need more insurance at offensive tackle. Four-time Pro Bowler Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown haven't missed much time over the last few years. Still, in a 17-game season, Buffalo should have an experienced veteran ready to go in case one or both miss extended time. Ryan Van Demark and Tylan Grable have started in three games combined. McDermott could provide much-needed experience at both tackle spots in a second stint with the Bills."
Having depth up front never hurts, so there is no negative to this potential move for Buffalo.
