The Buffalo Bills' defense under Jim Leonhard is expected to be an improved unit in 2026, but the franchise hasn't exactly gotten its pass rush mix right.
Granted, we are still early in the offseason, but if a game were to be played today, it's T.J. Sanders who would start, with Landon Jackson behind him.
And it is clear the Bills want to add more bodies to the room, as ESPN's Jeremy Fowler has reported that former Kansas City Chiefs DE Mike Danna recently had a visit with the Bills.

Danna an interesting Bills option
A largely rotational player for the Chiefs, as he played just 42 percent of the snaps in 2025, Danna could be a nice depth piece for the Bills.
Of course, how Leonhard views him will tell us a lot, and he could be seen as that veteran presence to help the likes of Sanders, Jackson, and T.J. Parker to learn the ropes.
Given how well-constructed the offense is, getting more help on defense will make the Bills a more balanced team, and Danna, on what would likely be a one-year prove-it deal, feels like good business.
Plus, he might share some secrets on the Chiefs as the AFC West franchise has been Buffalo's kryptonite for years.
