The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Detroit Pistons in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
For the Cavaliers, they enter Thursday’s game trailing 0-1 in the series after losing on the road to Detroit on Tuesday night in Game 1.
Now Cleveland will try to bounce back on Thursday as they look to steal a victory on the road in Detroit to even the series at 1-1 before heading home for Game 3.
While the Cavaliers are looking to pick up a victory in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in Detroit on Thursday night, they may be without one of their key players due to injury.
Cavaliers list Sam Merrill as questionable for Game 2
For the Cavaliers, they have only one player listed on their injury report for Thursday’s contest as they have listed Sam Merrill as questionable.
Cleveland has listed Merrill as questionable due to a left hamstring strain that caused him to exit Tuesday’s game early.
If Merrill is sidelined against the Pistons on Thursday night, Jaylon Tyson and Dennis Schroder could both be in line for increased roles.
Outside of Merrill, the rest of the Cavaliers’ roster is healthy entering Thursday’s matchup as they try to steal a victory on the road and avoid falling into a 0-2 hole in the series.
