Bills' Josh Allen reveals Super Bowl mindset after Jets blowout win

2 hours ago 3

All offseason, the Buffalo Bills were seen as Super Bowl favorites, and through two weeks, Sean McDermott's team has looked exactly that.

The shootout win over the Baltimore Ravens and then the 30-10 curb-stomping of the New York Jets, the Bills are rolling early in the season.

Granted, we know how fickle the NFL can be, and things can change quickly, but this Buffalo team, which is brimming with talent, is keeping things low-key despite the hot start.

And quarterback Josh Allen has detailed the mindset of the team after blowing New York off the field.

"I think the mindset that we have is never get too high, never get too low," Allen said. "Try to find the middle and understand that it's never as bad as you think, but it's never as good as you think. There's always things to improve on. And each and every week, that's all we're trying to do throughout practice."

Bills looking to consolidate division lead vs. Dolphins

The Bills have barely gotten over the Jets win, but Allen stated the team is already looking forward to the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night being a short week, but a big opportunity has presented itself to Buffalo.

Currently leading the division, the Bills have a chance to just about put a fork in Miami's playoff hopes, given the Dolphins' 0-2 start to the year.

So, there is a lot riding on the Week 3 game, and going by Allen's words, even if the Bills do slay the Dolphins, it will be as you were in the grand scheme of things. This Buffalo team knows how good it can be, and it can only achieve that by staying level-headed.

Never get too high and never get too low. That's the mantra for the Bills in 2025.

And so far, it's working out pretty well for them.
