Bill O’Reilly announced this week that he is temporarily stepping back from media appearances due to an unspecified illness.
The former Fox News anchor – who hosted “The O’Reilly Factor” for more than 20 years until he was fired in 2017 over sexual harassment allegations – said he would share updates.
“Hey No Spin Nation. Sorry I am dealing with a malady. We have great doctors so we’ll fight the good fight,” O’Reilly, 76, wrote in a post on his blog Tuesday.

A contact for O’Reilly did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
O’Reilly hosts his own, “No Spin News,” weeknights at 8 p.m. ET on TheFirstTV.com and DirecTV. He is also a frequent guest on NewsNation.
NewsNation host Chris Cuomo said Tuesday that O’Reilly would not make his scheduled appearance on the show.
“He is sick,” the host of “CUOMO” said during the show. “He’ll be back soon.”
O’Reilly has been the host and producer of “No Spin News” since he was fired from Fox News following a New York Times report that alleged he and the network paid nearly $13 million to settle cases with five women going back 15 years.

He has continued to maintain his innocence.
O’Reilly has also served as executive producer on several National Geographic made-for-TV movies based on his best-selling books, like “Killing Lincoln,” “Killing Kennedy” and “Killing Jesus.”
He is releasing another book titled “Confronting Evil: Assessing the Worst of the Worst” about the origins of history’s most evil figures – from Vladimir Putin to Adolf Hitler, The Post reported.
