Otis' role on WWE TV over the past year has been up and down, given that he hasn't been used as a main character, but has been there for Maxxine Dupri when she has needed support from The Alpha Academy.

Today is a big day for Otis, who celebrates his 34th Birthday on December 21st, and should now be at home with his family preparing for the holiday season after WWE's recent shows wrapped their pre-records last week.

It's unclear if WWE has no plans for the star in the ring at present, since he hasn't wrestled a singles match on RAW since March.

The former Money in the Bank winner has been part of battle royals and made appearances on NXT and as part of Main Event, with his latest match coming on December 1st, but he doesn't appear to be someone that the company has plans for on RAW.

What could be next for Otis?

Akira Tozawa and his tag team partner have been wasted over the past year and it could finally be time for them to step out of Maxxine Dupri's shadow, now that she is finding her feet on the main roster and is a champion on RAW.

The Women's Intercontinental Champion needed The Alpha Academy when she first made her main roster debut, but she has managed to move forward on her own and is proving all of her doubters wrong.

With rumors that Natalya could be returning with her new character to align with Maxxine, it could mean that she is no longer in need of The Alpha Academy, and the duo would be free to pursue their own paths.

It will be interesting to see what 2026 has in store for both members of Alpha Academy and if they will be featured in the upcoming Royal Rumble, which will be live from Saudi Arabia for the first time.
