AEW veteran Dustin Rhodes has just taken to social media to post a heartfelt message following him hitting a major milestone in his career. This comes following his uncertain future.

The Natural has not been in the ring in over five months as he is recovering from a major injury. He went through double knee replacement surgery and has been focusing on his rehabilitation, and is going through the journey towards making his in-ring return.

Dustin Rhodes has just taken to social media to post about it being 7 years since he signed with All Elite Wrestling. He thanked Tony Khan and everyone in the company for the trust they put in him, and for everyone else in his life, including the fans, for their constant support. He then mentioned how he'd continue working toward his comeback.

"Wow, 7 yrs has gone by by fast. Thank you to @TonyKhan and @AEW for trusting this old man to deliver, and the biggest thanks to all of you fans for letting me entertain you the best I can, and for your constant love of me and my family. Blessed and I will #KeepSteppin for y'all and ME! Love y'all!❤️🤘🏼"

Dustin Rhodes reveals a part of his retirement plans

After several decades in the business, Dustin Rhodes has acknowledged that he is now in the latter parts of his career. But he still wants to keep on pushing forward and end this when the time is right.

A fan on X/Twitter asked him whether he'd do a podcast and speak about his time in wrestling. The veteran replied to this and revealed that he was indeed planning to do this. He mentioned a major difference his podcast would have compared to others, and this was how he wouldn't call out or speak negatively about anybody.

"Yes! When I retire in a couple, I plan on it. What I won't do is talk bad about people in the biz. Too many podcaster/wrestlers talk sh*t about our brothers and sisters," he wrote.

For now, at least, Rhodes is constantly working towards his return to the ring. He could go on a final run after this to properly close out his career.

We at Sportskeeda hope for his speedy recovery.
