Copeland last competed in a tag match at All Out 2025 over a month ago, where he teamed with Christian Cage to defeat FTR. Amid his absence from TV, the WWE Hall of Famer celebrates his birthday on this day. The legend turns 52, as he receives birthday wishes from all around the world.

Tony Khan provided an update on Adam Copeland's (fka Edge) AEW absence

After his win over FTR at All Out 2025, Adam Copeland made an appearance on the following Dynamite to tell Christian Cage that he needs to go away to take care of his family and is still out of action after over a month. Meanwhile, Tony Khan provided an update on the erstwhile Edge.

Speaking with Z100 New York recently, Khan revealed that Copeland is currently out filming and should be back after the project is done:

“Adam’s out filming right now. He’s a huge star in AEW. We love having Adam Copeland, The Rated-R Superstar in AEW and I’m excited for him to be back in AEW, hopefully soon after this project is done, and he’s taking care of business and then Adam will come back and we’ll get Adam Copeland taking care of the business in the ring in AEW," Tony said.

Fans will have to wait and see when the Rated "R" Superstar will be back in action.
