Best Wishes to Absent WWE star Rey Fenix 

Rey Fenix has been making waves in WWE over the past year, after making the move over from AEW.

December 30th marks his 35th birthday, so best wishes are in order for the high-flying SmackDown star.

Fenix has been able to work with the legendary Rey Mysterio in recent weeks, teaming with The Master of the 619 against his own son, Dominik and El Grande Amerciano.

It's interesting that Mysterio became Fenix's partner since there were rumors that The Lucha Bros would finally be reunited, but Penta's recent injury meant that this was out of the question. The two stars made their way over to WWE recently but have been put on opposite brands, which has left fans anticipating a potential reunion.

The two men worked together throughout their time in WWE and proved that they could dominate the tag team division if given the chance.

Rey Fenix has been absent in recent weeks

Rey Fenix has been absent from WWE TV since November 21st but did recently appear at AAA's Guerra de Titanes show on December 20th, where he teamed with Rey Mysterio.

It's unclear why Fenix has been missing from SmackDown over the past month,but he has been appearing on Main Event more frequently since the summer as well. Fenix appears to be a star who is enjoying the recent alliance with AAA, while he isn't being utilized on SmackDown.

With the Royal Rumble coming up in a few weeks time and the added hour to SmackDown starting this week, Fenix could be one of the stars to benefit and could be called back to the blue brand to be part of a tag team feud heading into the first Premium Live Event of the year.

It will be interesting to see if WWE fans are able to get their Lucha Bros reunion when Penta is cleared.
