The chatter began early in these Winter Olympics.
Was this USA women's hockey team the best ever?
Well, they put quite an exclamation point on their case.
On Thursday in Milan, Hilary Knight equalized with only a couple minutes to play against Canada in the gold medal game.
And then in overtime, Megan Keller called game with an incredible goal to walk-off the gold medal victory.

They've got as good a case as any team ever.
For the Olympics, they scored 33 goals. They allowed 2.
Knight broke records.
Caroline Harvey led the Olympics in points four years after being the USA's least-played player in Beijing.
Aerin Frankel set a record for shutouts in a single Olympics in goal, and she made massive saves on Thursday.

Some wondered if it would actually, somehow, be easy on Thursday. The U.S. had beaten Canada in their last seven meetings, including 5-0 in the preliminary round.
The Canadians wouldn't let that happen, though. This was a gold medal game between the USA and Canada. Only the best would suffice.
Good thing this United States team might be the best ever. They had to be to pull off this victory.
As the players awaited their gold medals, Miley Cyrus' anthem "Party In The USA" blared throughout the arena in Milan.
A party, indeed, for the greatest to ever take the ice.
