The former Nebraska player Lexi Rodriguez opened up about her struggling journey

Lexi Rodriguez recently sat for a conversation with Hail Varsity, where she opened up about the adversities she has navigated in her journey. She revealed the sacrifices she faced from a very young age and opened up about her high goals.

The former Husker also said that she dreamt of winning a National Championship and competing at the Olympics since the age of 10. Expressing her desire to achieve her goals, she said:

"I did forget to mention my own sacrifice. There's plenty of that but I think from a young age I had really high goals. I wanted to play in the best conference and win a National Championship and go to the Olympics one day from the age of 10 or 12 year old so I think it made it a little easier," said Lexi Rodriguez.

She added:

"I was just so determined to get to the next level that, you know obviously, you wanna be where your friends are and attend all the sporting events and just do all that stuff but to me I knew what my end goal was and so I was kind of willing to do whatever it took."

Lexi Rodriguez visited multiple Nebraska volleyball matches this year to cheer for her former team.
