Ben Shelton's girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, penned a heartfelt note for the American as he achieved a notable feat. He is currently gearing up to compete at the ATP Finals, which will commence on November 9 and will conclude on November 16.

Ahead of his ATP Finals campaign, Shelton is currently at his career-high ranking of World No. 6. He rose up to this rank after his performance at the Canadian Open. In the tournament he beat top-notch athletes and reached the final round, where he bested Karen Kachanov. The American registered a 6-7(7), 6-, 7-6(3) win against the Russian player.

Rodman penned a note on her Instagram story congratulating Shelton for his career-high ranking. She lauded him for his hardwork and for navigating his adversities throughout the year. Posting a picture of them and wrote:

"What a year... #6 in the world. You've worked so hard this year and put in so much work. Through adversities and loses you have continued to thrive. You prove the doubters wrong and amaze me everyday. Breaking into the top ten this year anc continuing to move up has been the most rewarding thing to see. Last tournament of the season and it's the finals! You are one of a kind and you grow the sport every time you are yourseld out there. I love you❤️ One more push and then I get you all offseason! Hehe🤭"

Ben Shelton's girlfriend, Trinity Rodman recently appeared on one of the recent episodes of "Friendlies," hosted by Sam Mewis. She revealed the troubles she and Shelton went through during the initial phase of their relationship.

Recalling the start of their relationship, she said that it happened during the hardest time of her life. Lauding Shelton's support, she said:

"I would say Ben was huge in that support, and it’s so funny because it was like the start of our relationship. Rough! Rough timing for Ben. It was literally like the beginning of our relationship. I’m going through, like, the hardest time of my life... I’m really happy we made it out of that," Ben Shelton's girlfriend said.

On the tennis end of things, Ben Shelton's latest appearance on the court was at the Paris Masters. He reached the quarterfinals in this tournament; however, he was defeated by Jannik Sinner. With the ATP Finals still left for him to compete in, there are chances for him to still earn a higher ranking after the tournament.
